Time Tunnel Trail - Part II - Delivered to your door

Sale Price: PLN 39.99 Original Price: PLN 49.99

Discover the stories behind today’s Warsaw — from the dramatic days of World War II, through the memory of the Ghetto and the Uprising, across the austere but story-filled era of communism, to the city’s fascinating transformation into a modern European capital.

History lives on every corner here, so we split our route into two parts — Part I and Part II — to give you time to feel, see, and understand. Each part takes about 1 hour 45 minutes and flows straight into the next — Part II begins exactly where Part I ends. Check the map for Parts I and II.

Part II of the Time Tunnel Trail kicks off at the elegant Lubomirski Palace in Northern Downtown, then threads you through Grzybowski Square and its surroundings—where the lone surviving pre‑war synagogue stands like a quiet witness to the past. You’ll brush past the historic Church of All Saints, wander the atmospheric cobblestones of Próżna Street, and stop beneath the PAST‑A building, its giant Kotwica emblem towering above—a sentinel remembered for its dramatic capture during the Warsaw Uprising. The route finishes with a dramatic contrast: the Palace of Culture and Science, once a towering “gift from the Russians,” now framed by glittering skyscrapers and the city’s bold modern art.

Along the way, statues and murals resurrect figures and places erased by time—Pope John Paul II, the devoted educator Janusz Korczak, and the vanished Great Synagogue. You will discover maps that trace the city’s changing face, telling a story of destruction, renewal, and the stubborn resilience of Warsaw and its people.

This adventure-packed trail comes printed and ready, delivered straight to your doorstep. Our heavyweight cardstock A4-sized trail pack is perfect for taking on the go without worrying about gadgets – sturdy and colourful, it’s a treasure map in your hands!

If you can’t wait to start exploring, grab your downloadable trail here, print it at home and begin your quest right away!
